Department Overview
The Department of Reading Education and Special Education includes undergraduate and graduate programs. The department offers innovative programs focusing, in a transdisciplinary fashion, on all facets of reading, writing, language arts and specific areas of special education. All students pursuing programs in the department must meet all requirements for admission into the Reich College of Education. The Department of Reading Education and Special Education has adopted RCOE's Mission Statement.

- Master of Arts in Reading Education, General with two concentrations:
- Classroom/Clinical
- Adult Literacy
- Master of Arts in Special Education
- Master of Arts in Special Education: Teaching Parent Specialty
