NEWS

Beginning with the Fall 2009 term, the Community Counseling Program will be known as the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. This change in program title reflects the most current changes in the counseling profession and does not change our accreditation status with the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

The Community Counseling program (now Clinical Mental Health Program) was honored by the Graduate School by being named the "Outstanding Graduate Program" in 2006.

WELCOME

Welcome to the clinical mental health counseling website. The clinical mental health counseling program is a challenging, yet embracing environment for professional counselor preparation. Concentrations are available in addictions counseling, marriage and family counseling, expressive arts therapy, body centered therapy, and general clinical mental health counseling. In addition, graduate certificates are available in expressive arts therapy and addictions counseling.
