David Considine continues to promote media literacy at the local, state, national and international levels. In August of 2001 he attended the White House conference on Media Literacy, Substance Abuse and Faith Based Initiatives. In November of 2001 he accepted the invitation of the Office of National Drug Control Policy [White House] and presented at the 4th annual BI-National [U.S.A.-Mexico] Conference on Demand Reduction in Mexico City. His most recent publication, "Media Literacy: National Developments and International Origins" will be featured in the winter 2002 Issue of The Journal of Popular Film and Television. V.I.E.W. [Visual Information Education Workshops] a series of keynote addresses and workshops conducted for single school sites, whole systems and universities. These Include Harvard and Penn State.
